Rates and how it works

If you are not a professional model and want to work with me here’s the difference:

Most boudoir photographers up charge for prints and albums. I do not, I am happy to point you in the right direction for prints but it is not a service I offer. You receive all of your images digitally in high enough quality to print. All images are lightly retouched but additional retouching can be requested at a per image rate.

I live and work in NYC but travel often to Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. I am happily to travel outside of those areas if the project is a good fit.

Lani Lee offers a variety of options for content photoshoots for models and influencers. All shoots are done either in your home or on location. Studio shoots are also available - additional costs may apply.

Within one week of the shoot, a direct link to all images will be provided. YOU are free to use them for all social media platforms, as well as anywhere you would like to print yourself. These are your images and we want YOU to enjoy them. The only restrictions are you selling the images or using them commercially unless previously discussed. Services are available either hourly or through discounted package deals.

###Who is Boudoir for?

Boudoir is for any woman who is ready for a day of pampering, selflove and a luxurious experience? It is a way to connect with ourselves and feel great. It is for the bride who wants to tease her partner of what is to come; for the woman whose been hitting the gym hard and wants to celebrate her transformation; for the woman who wants to celebrate her pregnancy; for the woman who is celebrating that milestone birthday, for the woman who has finally accepted that she is worth it. So, if you want to feel sexy, beautiful, empowered, confident and a badass … Well then, Boudoir is for you!

###How far in advance should I book my session?

You should book your session 6-8 weeks before you need your products. But Spots fill up quickly so the sooner the better!

###How long will it take to see my images?

10-14 days after your shoot you will come in to review and pick your images and products. I will sit and go through them with you since there can be upwards of 80-100 images, which can be overwhelming but yet so much fun. Honestly, this is one of my favorite parts of the Experience.

###Do you offer hair and make-up?

This luxurious experience includes make-up but not hair. You should come with your hair clean and dry. I usually prefer loose tousled hair that you can also easily up do. No hair spray or gel is recommended but nothing is written in stone these are only recommendations. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and beautiful is the most important thing. Be You!

###What do I wear?

The weeks leading up to your special day we will be discussing wardrobe options. Although most think of Lingerie being a must for Boudoir it most certainly is not. Whether it is an oversized shirt, sweater, body stocking, tulle skirt or simply a pair of hot stilettos (personal favorite) or nothing at all but a sheet it works if it makes you look and feel Beautiful and Amazing.

###Do I have to get naked?

I do not do straight up nudity or erotica. My style is suggestive and implied. We may push the limits to where you can dabble and be a bit risqué and fierce. I use lights and shadow to create more abstract images, such as bodyscapes. Since I walk you through and model the poses for you there is plenty of opportunity for your input regarding your comfort level. You are in control at all times.

###“I’m not a model”, Do I need to know how to pose?

No! my Queens are Moms, teachers, entrepreneurs, business owners etc... the everyday modern women. I do not expect you to come in with an arsenal of poses (but if you do, share away lol). I will walk and talk you through each pose and expression and model them for you as well. You are going to look stunning.

###How do I prepare for the day of the Shoot?

Weeks leading up to the shoot drink plenty of water and get that body hydrated! If tanning be aware that although tan lines can be sexy, they might not be the look you’re going for and they are a nightmare to take out in post editing. You do not also want to tan the day before and have three tone skin, tan, red, and white. lol. The same goes for waxing, the skin can become red and irritated after a wax session and needs time to heal, so wax with enough time for the skin to recover. The morning of the shoot “EAT”. Many clients come in the morning of their shoot without eating and once there I often have snacks, but they are too nervous to eat, so they start feeling sluggish and drained halfway through the shoot. We want you not only to look your best but to feel your best as well, so EAT! You should also wear loose clothing to avoid any indentures on the skin from tight under garments or tight clothes. Come in with your hair clean and dry and make-up free (moisturizer is fine). I also suggest a Robe and slippers, but these are also available in the client closet if you forget.

###Can I bring a friend or partner with me?

Yes and No. Bringing a girlfriend for moral support is great and can help you relax initially but it can also be a source of distraction. It can make it difficult for you to get into your element with a friend looking over me at you (I will also look like I have two heads which can definitely be very distracting not to mention scary lol). As for partners being in the shooting space during the shoot can sometimes be very inhibiting and makes it hard to find your groove. So, I usually don’t recommend it. But they are more than welcomed to accompany you and wait outside the shooting space.

###Do you have a Client Closet?

Yes! I have a small selection of robes, chiffon skirts, tops, body suits etc.. that are available to my clients to glam during their shoots. I often recommend that you bring a black and skin color thong or G-string in addition to you bringing your own outfits or borrowing from the client closet. All garments in the Client closet are sanitized and washed after every use.

###Do you post my images?

You will initially sign a consent for your shoot and once you receive your products, I will present you with another consent asking if I can share your images and in what capacity. In other words, you can give me full consent to share your images or not share your images, or you can give partial consent with specified details. Some reasons clients choose to share their images is as an act of female solidarity to build each other up and encourage those who are having reservations that they can do this. Others choose only to share non identifiable images and others choose not to share at all. I am happy to honor whatever you decide. The most important thing to me is the privacy of my clients and that they trust me and feel safe.

###Where are you located?

I am in Rockland County, NY in the Hudson Valley. I am 40 minutes north of NYC, bordering Northern New Jersey and Westchester. I shoot in a studio in my home and specialty locations, i.e., B&B, Boutique Hotels, your home etc. I am available for travel in and outside the U.S.

###How much am I looking to Invest?

I offer 4 package collections of high-end products as well as A La Carte products. Our minimum investment starts at $375.00 for your Boudoir Experience and is required to lock down a date. The average client spends approximately $2,000. There is a price point for every budget as it all depends on the collections, the number of images and products you choose, i.e., albums, prints and Wall Art. After your initial consultation, a full price list will be sent to you via email.

###Are there Payment Options/Incentives?

Yes. There is a $100 off on any prepaid packages at time of booking your session. We accept most major credit cards and offer interest free payments in house and through Pay Pal Credit.
